The CYSCB Business Plan identifies a range of objectives that draw on new national requirements, outlined in Working Together to Safeguard Children 2006, along with being informed by identified local need.

Unlike previous business plans, the objectives contained within the 2007/10 are broader and more strategic. The reason for this is that each objective will be developed into a detailed development plan identifying all of the actions required to produce successful outcomes for children.
